Meadowlark Labs
Software built
to solve
real problems.
Through Meadowlark Labs, I build software products and occasionally partner with businesses to create websites, applications, and internal tools.
Whether it’s a customer-facing product or software behind the scenes, my goal is the same: build something dependable, intuitive, and genuinely useful.
I’m Alex Wright, founder of Meadowlark Labs.
Before writing software, I spent six years in real estate. Every day I watched buyers, investors, and builders make expensive decisions using spreadsheets, scattered information, and gut instinct.
I started building small tools to answer the questions I kept running into. Those tools eventually grew into Meadowlark Labs, where I build software focused on clarity, simplicity, and solving practical problems.

VisitBuilding software that solves real problems.
Most of my time is spent building and growing my own products, so I only take on a handful of client projects each year.
The projects I enjoy most start with a real problem to solve, not just a request for a new website. Whether it’s improving an existing product, building a custom application, or building something entirely new, I enjoy figuring out the simplest way to solve it.
Projects I typically take on
- SaaS products & MVPs
- Shopify, WordPress & CMS customizations
- Next.js & React applications
- Internal business tools
- Calculators & interactive web tools
From problem
to product.
Some projects need thoughtful improvements. Others are better rebuilt from the ground up. My job is figuring out which approach makes the most sense before writing a line of code.
Let’s talk.
If you’re building something and think I might be able to help, I’d love to hear about it.
I intentionally keep my client work limited so I can focus on my own products, but I’m always interested in projects that are a good fit.
Usually reply within 1–2 business days.
